Engagement Models

Three ways to work with TwiceTech, all with real engineers.

Whether you need ongoing managed IT, a one-time project, or a few hours of senior-engineer attention, we have a frame for it.

How an engagement starts

From first call to live

01

Intro call (no cost)

30-60 min. We learn your business, your stack, and what's keeping you up at night. We'll also tell you which engagement model fits — managed, project, or hourly.

If we're not the right shop for what you need, we'll say so. Sometimes the right answer is an in-house IT person, sometimes a vertical-specific MSP.

02

Discovery / audit

For managed engagements: we do a 1-2 day audit of your environment — network, identity, mail, hosting, endpoints, line-of-business apps. Documented. You keep the doc whether or not we end up partnering.

03

Scope & agreement

Plain-language scope, plain-language pricing. Managed retainers are flat monthly. Projects are fixed-fee. Hourly is hourly. No surprise line items, no auto-renewals.

04

Onboarding

We collect the access we need (credentials, API tokens, hardware locations, vendor contacts) using a structured intake. Everything goes into our internal vault, audit-trailed. You can revoke any time.

05

Day one + first 30 days

We catch the obvious fires in week one (almost-expired SSL, deferred backups, identity gaps). The 30-day mark is a sit-down review with you and our lead engineer for your account.

06

Steady-state

Quiet most of the time, fast when it matters. Quarterly business reviews to revisit scope. Annual stack-roadmap conversation if you want one. Engineering relationship that compounds over years.

Before our intro call

Helpful to share when you reach out

We'll start whether you have all this or none of it. Helps us prepare.

Business size

Headcount, locations, revenue band roughly. Sets the right scope for managed retainer pricing.

Current IT setup

In-house IT? Outsourced? "My nephew"? Whoever's been doing it now. Affects transition planning.

What's on fire

What's keeping you up — security incidents, downtime, vendor exhaustion, compliance deadlines? We'll prioritize accordingly.

Stack overview

Quick list of what you run — POS, ERP, CRM, line-of-business apps, cloud / hosted, on-prem servers. Even "not sure" is fine.

Compliance / regulatory

PCI? HIPAA? SOC2? Industry-specific (FINRA, ITAR, etc)? Affects how we handle access and audit trails.

Timeline pressure

Anything date-driven? Audit coming up, vendor contract ending, office move? Helps us shape the discovery scope.
